This course is appropriate for camp directors/administrators/owners that are new to the ACA accreditation process. They may be directors of camps seeking accreditation for the first time or new directors or administrators of currently accredited camps. The person completing the Standards Course is expected to assist the camp in preparation for the accreditation visit and participate in the on-site visit. Also appropriate for persons interested in becoming standards visitors.

Resident Camp Conference
September 21-22
The Resident Camp Conference is a two day conference committed solely to the enhancement of Resident Camps, their owners, directors, staff and campers. Join us in the Poconos (Wayne County) as we visit Tyler Hill, Trail's End, Chestnut Lake, Island Lake, Weequahic and Starlight on September 21-22. Accommodations for the night of Sept. 21 are available at Bryn Mawr. Our host camps will guide us through their facilities and share their property. This conference is open to facilities and maintenance staff as well.

The Ben Appelbaum Day Camp Conference is a one day conference committed solely to the enhancement of Day Camps, their owners, directors, staff and campers. This year's conference will be taking place at Ramapo Country Day Camp in Airmont, NY.

The Joe Kruger Educational Conference
November 10
The Joe Kruger Educational Conference offers a unique opportunity to learn about children and adolescents from outstanding professionals in the field of Human Development. The sessions are presented by individuals who understand the challenges facing camps today. This year's conference, taking place at BB Kings in Manhattan, will focus on gender issues.

EPIC Fall Conference
December 7
The EPIC Conference is an interactive and exciting one day educational conference, taking place this year at Hudson Guild in Manhattan. This conference is germane to EPICs who have just entered the camp industry as well as those EPICS who have been in camping for several years and are taking on new roles with their organization. Information at the EPIC Conference is presented in creative and interactive methods and is often coupled with opportunities to network and speak with other camp professionals.
